This problem actually relates to SH1 only, not SH2 as previously notified. The database service has become damaged and we are working to recover it.
We are currently experiencing a problem with the mariadb instance on node SH2. If you are impacted by this problem you will probably see "connection refused" or "unable to contact database" or similar issues.
